PARTILLE arena is designed as multipurpose space owned to the community of Partille, the project is built by Sweden leading contractor Skanska, and the main function is to support the local community of Partille. The arena host a handball stadium, Gym and other services, the handball stadium space can host few thousands of individuals, Partille cup is one of the largest sport event hosted by the arena, handball teams from more than 40 countries participate in the cup events.

The architects of the arena designed it to have mechanically folding stadium stands, which can transfer the arena in few minutes from a handball stadium into an open space which can host variety of social events, due to the location of the arena by the high way, the walls by the highway side was designed to stand explosions, risk assessment process notified that it is a possibility of fuel trucks have accidents by the arena location.
